For highlight work on toned paper, use firm pressure for maximum opacity. For burnishing, apply over fully saturated colour layers using circular or directional strokes to blend and integrate. For paint-like effects, dissolve with a non-toxic solvent such as Zest-it applied with a brush. The pencil is not water-soluble and should not be used with water-based mediums. For best preservation of finished work, hang behind UV-protective glass and away from direct sunlight.
