Foam board can also be scored on one side and bent to create curved and angled forms for model making and three-dimensional construction.

Surfaces can be painted with acrylic paint, covered with paper or fabric using PVA glue, or marked directly with pencil and marker. Foam board pieces can be joined using PVA glue, hot glue or foam-safe adhesive for model assembly and construction work.
